You are (you say) ashamed
To create a vision, a Vitrigraph, in your thoughts, A vitreous portrait of the Divine. And this shame itself Polishes your mind, it Draws a thread of light, it Brings you to an island lit With song and praise to God. You find wonder, which Is the unknown, the unnamed. The soil is soft and rich, And we are no longer Ashamed. And here, I Ask to know the name Of this island, to see its sky.
