It takes a lot of work, it’s not
Just standing on the roof, to gain Wisdom, it takes veins and arteries, It takes a horizontal plane, It takes a city grid including Plane trees and maple seeds, It takes the center of a planet, A patient sage amidst the Medes. The center of the computer flashes Signals to the motherboard, Outside, a shadow passes, and The rain begins, the scent stored In the grass and sidewalk spreads, And the light seeps through the cloud, Till the jittery raindrops cease And you’re silent in the crowd.
